Jill's Story

Jill began her career in education as a second grade teacher at a Charter School in the City of St. Louis where she taught for eight years.  After her time there, she began working as a Parent Educator with the Missouri Parents and Teachers Program.  Jill has also taught first grade and most recently Early Childhood Special Education.  She is currently working as the Social-Emotional Learning Foundations Teacher at an Early Childhood Center  It was during this time that she discovered the work of Dr. Becky Bailey and Conscious Discipline which dramatically changed her approach to teaching and parenting.  Jill earned her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Cross-Categorical Special Education, as well as her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education.
